Kyiv MICE Hub is an informational platform representing the interests of the Tourism and Promotion Department of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) and promoting Kyiv in the MICE travel market.
Our task was to develop a visually appealing brand image that would be memorable and recognizable worldwide.
To achieve this goal, we focused on design and strategic branding approaches. By emphasizing the cultural diversity, historical significance, and vibrant atmosphere of Kyiv, we aimed to showcase the city as an attractive destination for tourists and guests.
Creating visual elements, it was important for us that each aspect of the brand communicated with the target audience and reflected the uniqueness of Kyiv, highlighting its rich cultural heritage and distinct atmosphere.
The three main elements of the new design are: the event location—KYIV, the acronym “MICE,” indicating the project’s industry, and a vibrant sticker symbol in the brand color—HUB.
At the core of the logo, we incorporated a synthesis of historical and modern elements, utilizing characters from the Cyrillic alphabet of Kyivan Rus in the 10th century and depictions of contemporary Kyiv.
By ensuring the adaptability of all elements and adopting a flexible approach to brand representation, we implemented a methodology that allows each component of the logo to change according to requirements and functional needs.
In our project, identity and color play a crucial role in defining the image and overall impression.
Regarding colors, we have chosen a palette that reflects the dynamism and energy of the events industry. Each color symbolizes important aspects of the event industry and adds elements of distinctiveness and attractiveness to the overall image of Mice Hub.
Overall, the project results met our expectations. With a total duration of approximately 1.5 months, we successfully embodied all ideas. The outcome is an elegant image and style that reflects the values of Mice Hub.
